What is a Brotherhood Ambassador?

A Brotherhood Ambassador represents the IYT student body and the organization in community events, gatherings, and movements. Ambassadors are the voice of IYT and are responsible ensure IYT is active and vocal in their community. Ambassadors support IYT's development team in diverse events, fundraising opportunities and more. 

Requirements

  • IYT College Academy member in their junior or senior year of high school at San Juan Unified School Site

  • Enthusiasm to positively represent IYT

  • Knowledge of IYT history and programs

  • Ability to work with diverse groups

  • Organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent communication skills in one-on-one and group setting      

  • Dependable, outgoing, and enthusiastic

  • Possess the ability to listen, problem solve, and react quickly

  • School work permit eligible

Duties

  • Support IYT Development department with events

  • Assist in fundraising/community relation efforts

  • Represent IYT at community events as needed

  • Provide assistance in the headquarters office

  • Perform other duties as assigned
