"I am a first-generation college grad and growing up I never thought I could afford college, but despite the struggles I faced I always felt school was where I excelled at. My motivation came from seeing the struggles my parents went through to support my siblings and I, and I wanted to be able to provide a better life for myself and my family. I found support in my education system and found education to be a gateway of opportunities. I am grateful to be a part of an organization that provides more than just resources, but experiences that will last a lifetime and create leaders for our future generations."
