Event Recap: IYT & Sutter Health Partnership Launch

ICYMI: Our Partnership with Sutter Health

Event Recap: C.A.R.E. Path Launch at IYT Headquarters

Recently, leadership from both Improve Your Tomorrow (IYT) and Sutter Health gathered at the IYT National Office (and future site of the College Success Center) to celebrate the kickoff of our new initiative, the C.A.R.E. Path (Career Access, Readiness, and Exposure).

IYT & Sutter Health: Partnering to Transform College and Career Pathways

This partnership isn't just about their investment, it's about a shared belief that every young man, regardless of his zip code, deserves a clear, supported pathway to a college degree and a thriving career.

Ask Me Anything: A Future in Healthcare & Beyond

Prior to the launch event, we asked our IYT Brothers to submit questions for the Sutter Health leadership team. They sent excellent questions covering everything from how to choose a career path, their best advice to someone feeling nervous about joining the medical field, and everything in between.

We'd like to shout-out the incredible folks who stepped up to participate in our AMA-style video question bridge, including:

  • Our IYT Brothers

  • Rachael McKinney, President of Sutter Health Greater Sacramento Division

  • Dr. Peter Hull, MD, MBA, Chief Medical Officer of Sutter Health Greater Sacramento

  • Ray Ware, Sutter Health Service Line Executive of Sutter Center for Psychiatry

  • Dr. Joseph Chiang, MD, MBA, FACEP, Sutter Health Chief Medical Officer

  • Gino Patrizio, President of Sutter Health Central Valley Division

  • Bryan Rivera, Sutter Health Sr. Director Inpatient Nursing

  • Charles Smith, Environmental and Safety Specialist

  • And last but certainly not least...

Special AMA Guest: Josh Fryday

We were thrilled to host California's Chief Service Officer Josh Fryday at the launch event, and couldn't resist asking him to share his thoughts on some of the questions. Check out our College Success Center playlist on YouTube to view them all!
