Johnny Dominguez Wins Gold at the Stars of Nevada Awards

Last week, at the prestigious Stars of Nevada, Governor’s Points of Light Award Ceremony, our very own Executive Director of IYT Nevada was recognized for his outstanding dedication, passion, and service to the community.

Please join all of us at IYT in extending a huge congratulations to Johnny Dominguez on being honored as the Gold Finalist in the Community Leadership category!

The Governor’s Points of Light Awards celebrate extraordinary individuals, organizations, and businesses that go above and beyond to make a meaningful difference across the state of Nevada. Winning is a huge honor, and reflects the heart and leadership we see Johnny bring to IYT Nevada every single day.

Through his guidance, he’s consistently championed youth empowerment, mentorship, and educational equity, working tirelessly to create real, lasting opportunities for young men of color in Nevada. His vision and commitment are an inspiration to IYT students and team members, and as evidenced by this award, the broader community as a whole.

While this recognition rightfully shines a light on Johnny’s dedication and hard work, it’s also a testament to the strength of the community he’s cultivated in the region. When one of us is recognized, it validates the work we’re all doing together to build brighter futures for young men of color.

Thank you Johnny, for your unwavering heart, and dedication to Nevada’s youth. We couldn’t be prouder!
