Celebrating Community and Connection: A Recap of IYT Minnesota’s Program Showcase at Hopkins High School
Community support and student voices took center stage at Hopkins High School as IYT Minnesota hosted its recent Program Showcase.
The gathering brought together city and district leadership, school administrators, educators, families, and community partners for a behind-the-scenes look at how IYT is empowering young men of color to reach their full potential.
Reflecting on the day, IYT Minnesota Executive Director Arthur Turner shared his gratitude for the overwhelming support and intentionality demonstrated by attendees.
“I continue to be inspired by the Hopkins community and its commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for students. What makes the Hopkins community special is not simply its commitment to student success, but its willingness to come together and make that commitment a reality.”

Collaboration across sectors: City leaders, district administrators, and educators engaged in meaningful discussions on how to sustain and expand opportunities for local youth.
A shared vision for the future: Attendees reviewed IYT’s ongoing impact metrics and discussed strategic opportunities to deepen partnership efforts moving forward.
