IYT Mentor Fellowship
The IYT Mentor Fellowship is a year-long fellowship program for young professionals who seek to pursue a career in social justice. Fellows will be placed within one of IYT's signature programs: College Academy, IYT CC, or IYT U according to the candidate's interests and experience. Fellows will become part of the greater AmeriCorps Volunteer Network, and will receive a biweekly living allowance and an education award upon completion of the program's requirements.

The IYT Mentor Fellowship provides an opportunity for aspiring educators and social justice advocates to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the formation of young scholars on their journey to and through college.
IYT will provide emerging leaders the opportunity to expand their expertise and further their ability to serve communities deeply affected by social injustice.
Fellows will be placed at one of IYT's signature programs according to their interests, experience and preferred location. IYT partner sites can be found in Sacramento and San Joaquin Counties.
College Academy serves young men of color at traditional middle and high schools. The program currently serves 1500 students in nineteen middle and high schools in Sacramento and San Joaquin Counties.
IYT CC serves young men of color at community colleges. The program is designed to provide specialized support to help students graduate from community college, enter the workforce, or transfer to a 4-year university.
