Month In Review

This past month was a heartfelt celebration of our rising 9th graders at IYT at Aptos, highlighted by a wonderful promotion ceremony where we were thrilled to see so many proud families come together. While we proudly honored our entire 8th-grade class for completing their middle school journey, a special Brothers of the Month recognition was dedicated to the leaders among them: our Junior Mentor team. This exceptional group was celebrated for their steadfast commitment and the positive energy they brought to our community all year, truly embodying the spirit of their graduating class.

We’re very proud of all of our 8th graders for completing this chapter of their academic careers. It’s been a great year. Thank you to all the parents who were able to make it to our celebration; it’s not often we get to see this many families in the room.

For this special end-of-year recognition, the title of Brother of the Month is dedicated to a group whose collective leadership has been exceptional: our departing 8th-grade Junior Mentors.

Throughout the year, these students have led by example with their steadfast commitment and uplifting attitudes. Their consistent presence and positive energy have been instrumental in shaping a supportive and engaging atmosphere within our program. As they transition to high school, we know they will continue to be leaders in their new communities. While their presence will be missed at Aptos, we are incredibly proud of them and excited to see all the great things they will accomplish.
