"After growing up with a hardworking single mother, college was a transformative experience for me; it was an essential gateway that exposed me to opportunities beyond Baltimore. After college, I was able to come back home, be supportive to my mother and use what I learned to support my community. I want other young brothers to have similar opportunities to engage with new ideas and apply that knowledge to support themselves, their families and their communities."
