Month In Review

This past month at IYT at Brooklyn Middle STEAM was a wonderful celebration of our students' holistic growth as they prepare for high school. We honored our departing 8th graders with a fun-filled celebration complete with food, music, and games as they get ready for their transition, many to Park Center. This month also highlighted different kinds of crucial progress: we proudly recognized Khali Welch for his dedicated academic effort in finishing the trimester strong with a 2.5 GPA. And celebrating personal development, Justin 'JJ' Smiley was named Brother of the Month for his remarkable growth in emotional wellness and finding the confidence to express himself.

On May 22nd, we celebrated our 8th grade IYT brothers as they prepared to transition into 9th grade! We’re excited to welcome them to Park Center next year and plan to stay connected over the summer. The celebration was filled with food, music, and games.
