Month In Review

This month at Thomas Downey, IYT was a truly memorable month, marked by proud milestones and dedicated growth. A particularly special occasion was our May 19th Graduation Ceremony, where we joyfully celebrated our graduating seniors, honoring their hard-won achievements and their exciting transition to new life chapters. Supporting all our brothers, the month's workshops focused on essential well-being, from important conversations about mental health and gratitude practices to practical budgeting skills, all capped off with an energizing de-stress trip to Boomers before final exams. Individual dedication also shone brightly as Justin Barragan was named Brother of the Month, recognized for his consistent hard work, program engagement, and commendable achievement of a 3.0 GPA, reflecting the effort and growth we are proud to foster.

May's IYT workshops at Thomas Downey were thought out and curated to support our brothers' overall well-being and future preparedness. Students engaged in deep and important conversations about mental health, explored the importance of expressing gratitude for their personal support networks, and gained practical knowledge on budgeting essentials. Capping off these enriching sessions, the month concluded with an energetic pop-up trip to Boomers! This lively event was the perfect final program before finals commenced, allowing brothers to de-stress, bond, and recharge before tackling their exams.
