Month In Review

May was a month of incredible achievement and celebration at IYT at Weaver Middle School, from major community milestones to individual triumphs. We honored our graduating 8th graders in a heartfelt promotion ceremony surrounded by their families and also provided a unique VIP experience for brothers at a professional Disc Golf tournament. The dedication to excellence was on full display as we celebrated Neymar Chavez and Udham Singh for their remarkable achievement of earning straight A’s through tireless hard work. And personifying the consistent engagement that makes our brotherhood strong, Michael was honored as Brother of the Month for his unwavering positive presence and participation.

A Month of Milestones and New Horizons

May was a month of major milestones and exciting new experiences for our IYT brothers at Weaver Middle School, celebrating both the culmination of one journey and the exploration of another.

On May 29th, we held our 8th-grade promotion ceremony, a true community affair with 84 family members and supporters in attendance. We proudly honored our 20 graduating brothers as they prepare for high school, and a powerful highlight of the ceremony was hearing moving speeches from two of our very own students.

Earlier in the month, our brothers also had the chance to explore a new world at a professional Disc Golf tournament in Stockton. Twelve students received an exclusive VIP experience, giving them an up-close look at the pros in action and a free disc to practice their own skills. From celebrating a major academic step to getting a behind-the-scenes look at a professional sporting event, it was an unforgettable month of growth and opportunity.
