November in Review: Energy & Commitment
This month at Edison High School, energy and commitment were the themes driving our success. From the high-energy atmosphere of a collegiate basketball game to the steadfast dedication shown by our students in the classroom, our Brothers are proving that showing up matters—whether it's for a field trip, a workshop, or their own GPA.
College Access: UC Berkeley Visit
Adventure & Ambition

IYT Brothers kicked off an unforgettable adventure with a college visit to UC Berkeley, exploring the historic campus and imagining what is possible for their futures.
After the tour, they kept the energy high by attending the Berkeley vs. Sac State basketball game, experiencing the excitement of a live college sports environment together. It was a powerful day of exposure, bonding, and motivation, inspiring students to dream big and take concrete steps toward their goals.
Brotherhood Day
Strengthening Our Circle

This month, we hosted a Brotherhood Day to encourage all Brothers to show up and truly get to know one another.
The event strengthened our community, fostering relationships and reminding everyone that IYT’s success is built on each other’s participation and energy. By stepping out of their comfort zones and engaging with peers they might not usually talk to, our Brothers built a stronger, more unified foundation for the year ahead.
Brother of the Month

Brother Anthony
11th Grade
Brother Anthony sets the standard for consistency and commitment! As Brother of the Month, he rarely misses programming and continues to grow academically and socially after three years of involvement.
Whether it's a college tour, a pop-up event, regular programming, or even just lunchtime, you can count on Brother Anthony to be there. His dedication truly shows in his results, as he currently holds an impressive 3.5 GPA. We appreciate his presence, leadership, and continued commitment to the community!
