IYT Stagg High School Impact Update: November 2025

November in Review: Exposure & Connection

This month at Stagg High School was all about expanding horizons—both outwardly to university campuses and inwardly to our own circle of Brothers. From the energy of a UC Berkeley basketball game to the intentional bonding of Brotherhood Day, our students are seeing what is possible for their futures while building the support system they need to get there.

Our IYT Brothers stepped onto the UC Berkeley campus for an unforgettable college visit, giving them a chance to explore a top-tier university and see what is possible for their future.

After the tour, the excitement continued at the Berkeley vs. Sac State basketball game, where the Brothers experienced the electric energy of a live college sports environment together. The day was filled with exposure, bonding, and motivation—leaving our Brothers inspired and more confident about their next steps beyond high school.

Showing Up for Each Other

This month, IYT hosted a Brotherhood Day to encourage Brothers to show up and truly get to know one another.

The event helped shape our community culture, reinforcing the idea that IYT’s success is built on each Brother’s participation and energy. It was a meaningful opportunity to celebrate connection, collaboration, and the importance of supporting one another through the highs and lows of the school year.

12th Grade

Our Brother of the Month, Brother Kai, is a powerhouse of leadership and dedication. He is so committed to the program that he can recite the mission, vision, and values in his sleep!

Highlighted for the energy he brings to every programming session, Brother Kai is set to graduate this spring and plans to continue his education at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton. We are incredibly proud of his achievements and the positive impact he has on his peers.
