IYT Thomas Downey High School Impact Update: December 2025

December in Review: Reflection & Consistency

December at Thomas Downey High School was a time to pause and look inward. As we reached the halfway point of the school year, we focused on "The Art of Reflection"—understanding that to move forward, we must first appreciate how far we have come. Whether through creative visualization workshops or the daily discipline of our standout students, our Brothers ended the year grounded in their past successes and clear about their future intentions.

Visualization: Mid-Year Reflection Mural

Brothers reflect on their academic journey using three different sticky notes to capture achievements from the past, successes in the present, and goals for the future.

IYT Brothers took a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate their growth during the Mid-Year Reflection Mural workshop. This session was centered around evaluating their journey both academically and personally. Brothers visually mapped out their progress, acknowledging successes from the past and present while setting clear, powerful intentions for what they hope to accomplish in 2026.
