We're incredibly proud to announce that IYT Brother and current member of our Alumni Board of Advisors, Landan Devenecia, has been appointed to the Youth Trustee Board of America's Promise Alliance (APA).

What is the Youth Trustee Board?

The America's Promise Alliance is an influential network dedicated to making the American promise real for every child. Their Youth Trustee Board is a hand-selected leadership team comprised of dynamic young visionaries from member organizations across the Alliance.

Out of a competitive pool of young leaders from across the country, IYT Brother Landan Devenecia (currently a senior at UCLA), was selected to help shape the future of one of the nation's most influential youth advocacy organizations.

The Impact

For IYT, seeing a Brother step into this role is a powerful reminder that our voices belong in the rooms where decisions are made. Over the next two years he won't just be learning about the nonprofit world, he'll be actively influencing the policies and practices that impact millions of young people across the United States.
