Month in Review: Community & Unity
IYT at Victory Elementary was defined by a simple but powerful lesson: Community is a verb. It requires action. This month, our Brothers stepped out of the classroom and into the neighborhood to demonstrate that unity is built through shared effort.
MLK Day of Service: "Rooted in Action"

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy, the Stockton Service Corps partnered with IYT for a Day of Service rooted in community, unity, and action. It was an inspiring sight as more than 40 IYT members—including staff and students—came together to serve across multiple projects. The team split up to make a tangible impact, including:
Neighborhood clean-ups to beautify our streets.
Building and planting garden beds for sustainable growth.
Assembling food boxes for families in need.
Organizing and cleaning community equipment.
It was a day that embodied Dr. King’s call to serve others—not just in words, but through meaningful, hands-on impact right here in our local neighborhoods.
