February at Golden Valley High School was a powerful mix of inspiration and achievement. Our students got a firsthand look at the leadership behind IYT, and we got a firsthand look at the bright futures ahead of them as acceptance letters started rolling in.

On January 29, Golden Valley High School welcomed a special guest during after-school programming: IYT CEO Michael Lynch. Michael spent time connecting with our Brothers, sharing his personal story and the "why" behind his work. It wasn't just a speech; it was an insight into the passion that drives this organization. The visit concluded with an engaging Q&A session, where students asked thoughtful questions and engaged in meaningful conversations that left them inspired and motivated to pursue their own goals.

Big wins deserve big recognition! Three of our Brothers proudly shared their accomplishments this month, each holding college acceptance letters that reflect their hard work and perseverance. Moments like these show that dedication truly pays off. Their goals are quickly becoming reality, and we are incredibly proud to watch them continue their journeys with confidence and purpose.

Brother Kevin

9th Grade

Kevin has quickly made his mark as a dedicated and driven IYT Brother. Even as one of our newer students, he consistently shows up during lunch and attends after-school programming to stay on top of his academic progress. In a short amount of time, Kevin has shown noticeable growth, becoming more comfortable opening up and engaging with the Brotherhood. Congratulations, Kevin! Your commitment and positive attitude make you a standout choice for Brother of the Month!
