Month in Review: Leadership & Growth

February at Jesse Bethel High School was filled with high-energy learning and remarkable academic turnarounds. From Junior Mentors commanding the classroom to 9th-graders proving that resilience pays off, our Brothers are showing what it takes to succeed both academically and as community leaders.

IYT recently brought energy, leadership, and brotherhood to a fun and engaging gathering! Our Junior Mentors stepped up brilliantly, leading a Jeopardy-style game that challenged everyone’s knowledge while keeping the atmosphere lively and interactive. Their preparation, confidence, and leadership highlighted the massive growth happening within our program.

After the indoor excitement, the Brothers took the fun outdoors, enjoying competitive games of basketball and continuing to strengthen camaraderie beyond the classroom. This event was a perfect reminder that leadership, learning, and fellowship all go hand in hand at IYT!

Gamifying the Future: College Jeopardy

This month’s workshop brought learning to life as Brothers participated in an exciting game of College Jeopardy! The boys tackled topics on college readiness, financial aid, campus life, and career pathways, blending fun competition with highly valuable knowledge.

Working together, they practiced critical thinking, collaboration, and teamwork, all while deepening their understanding of the college journey ahead. The energy in the room was electric! College Jeopardy was a perfect way to reinforce important concepts while strengthening Brotherhood and camaraderie.
