IYT Sacramento Shows Up Strong for MLK Day of Service

On January 19th, 2026, the spirit of service and community shined bright in Sacramento, despite the cold, foggy weather. Members of IYT Sacramento partnered with MLK 365 for their annual march, demonstrating a powerful commitment to impactful service.
Our dedicated IYT team showed up in full force joining the march from Sacramento City College to the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center, not just as participants, but leaders. Members of IYT were at the forefront of the march, helping to guide the procession and warmly welcoming attendees as they arrived at the convention center.
A true highlight of the morning was hearing from our very own Executive Director, Ray Green. He was honored with the task of delivering the final speech before the march began, igniting enthusiasm and preparing everyone for the meaningful work ahead. His words resonated with the core theme of the day: service, and the powerful impact of committing to small acts of service throughout the entire year.
Even with the cold and fog, the dedication of our IYT Sacramento team was unwavering. They stood as a testament to the enduring message of Dr. King, proving that when we come together in service, we can make a profound difference in our communities. We are incredibly proud of our team's commitment, and grateful to everyone who participated in this inspiring day!
