Month in Review: Confidence & Community

February at Weaver Middle School was all about building connections and preparing for the future. From gaining valuable wisdom from their older high school Brothers to spreading gratitude to local senior citizens, our young men are proving that true leadership is rooted in service and character.

Preparing for the Future: Bridge the Gap Event

The second annual Bridge the Gap event was an inspiring display of Brotherhood, filled with laughter, meaningful connections, and invaluable wisdom.

The Golden Valley High School Brothers rose to the occasion as mentors, guiding our Weaver Brothers with practical tools for success, encouragement, and support. Experiences like this help ease their transition into both the high school program and a thriving freshman year. We are incredibly proud of the camaraderie and maturity displayed by all our scholars!

Giving Back: Operation Valentine

Our IYT Brothers in Merced partnered with Assemblywoman Esmeralda Soria and her team for Operation Valentine, a heartfelt program dedicated to honoring and showing appreciation for local senior citizens.

During a special workshop, the Brothers wrote personalized notes to seniors in the community. Afterward, Assemblywoman Soria and her team distributed the notes the day before Valentine’s Day, spreading joy and gratitude throughout the wider community.

Brother of the Month

Brother Dylan

8th Grade

Leadership, dedication, and growth shine bright this month as we celebrate 8th-grader Dylan as our Brother of the Month!

Dylan has truly transformed since joining the program—what started as a quiet, reserved presence has grown into a confident and dependable leader. He is often the first to step up for rituals, is present at every event, and is consistently committed to both his own growth and the success of the Brotherhood. Through it all, Dylan has remained respectful, mature, and steady, setting an amazing example for his peers. There is truly no better choice for Brother of the Month than Dylan!
