Month in Review: Planting the Future
January at Wilson Elementary was about looking outward. We teach our students that being a "Brother" means taking responsibility for the world around you. This month, they did exactly that, joining forces with the broader Stockton community to leave their neighborhood better than they found it.
MLK Day of Service: Unity in Action

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy, the Stockton Service Corps partnered with IYT for a powerful Day of Service. It was a day rooted in the core values of community, unity, and action. More than 40 IYT members, including staff and students, came together to serve across multiple projects. The Wilson Brothers got their hands dirty to support the community by:
Building and planting garden beds.
Assembling food boxes for local families.
participating in neighborhood clean-ups.
Organizing and cleaning community equipment.
It was a day that embodied Dr. King’s call to serve others—proving that meaningful impact comes from hands-on work and a willing heart.
