December in Review: Spirit & Service
This month at Cesar Chavez High School was defined by high energy and deep impact. Whether it was the physical labor of improving our neighborhoods or the vocal leadership of reciting the Creed, our Brothers demonstrated that true commitment requires both heart and hands.
MLK Day of Service: Honoring the Spirit of Unity

Honoring the spirit of service and unity, the Stockton Service Corps partnered with IYT for a meaningful Day of Service. More than 40 IYT members—including staff and students—came together to serve across multiple projects. The day truly embodied Dr. King’s call to serve others through action, not just words. United by purpose, Brothers tackled:
Neighborhood clean-ups.
Building and planting garden beds.
Assembling food boxes for families.
Organizing and cleaning community equipment.
These projects made a lasting impact in local neighborhoods while strengthening the students' commitment to community responsibility.
Brother of the Month

Brother Amahnti
11th Grade
A true example of leadership in action, Amahnti has proudly represented IYT since joining the program in his Sophomore year. He consistently shows up with purpose and motivates other Brothers to attend after-school programming. What sets Amahnti apart is his unmatched energy—especially when leading the IYT Creed. He isn't afraid to hold his peers accountable in ways that strengthen the entire chapter. His spirit, commitment, and dedication to our mission make him a well-deserving Brother of the Month!
