Bro, Xavier

11th Grade

Xavier's journey with IYT is a powerful testament to perseverance and the impact of second chances. Though he faced initial challenges that led to his temporary exit from the program, Xavier's determination to return and reconnect was remarkable. Program Manager Jessica, recognizing his potential, offered him an opportunity to demonstrate his commitment to respecting our program's values. Xavier seized this chance, transforming his engagement and beginning impactful mentorship sessions. Starting significantly behind, he diligently worked to not only catch up on his credits but to get ahead. We're incredibly proud that Xavier is now on track to graduate early in the Fall semester of his senior year. He and his mentor are actively planning his next steps, with Xavier aspiring to attend trade school for a plumbing certification. His story is an inspiration, showcasing true growth and the power of believing in oneself.
