State of the Region
December marks a significant turning point for IYT Nevada. We closed the year by hosting our first-ever Regional Showcase at Eldorado High School, securing $17,500 in new funding from key community partners, and celebrating outstanding academic achievements at Western High School. These milestones reflect the clarity and purpose our team is bringing into the new year as we expand our impact across the region.
Regional Highlight: First Regional Showcase
Celebrating Student Voice at Eldorado High School

This month, we reached a major milestone by hosting our first-ever IYT Nevada Regional Showcase at Eldorado High School.
The event brought together students, mentors, school partners, and community leaders for a powerful afternoon of reflection. It was an opportunity to center student voices, review the successes of the fall semester, and witness firsthand how mentorship and belonging are shaping the lives of our young men. We extend a special thank you to the staff at Eldorado HS for hosting us and to every community member who joined us to mark this occasion.

Brother of the Month: Reindell Cole (Eldorado High School)

Congratulations to Brother Reindell from Eldorado High School, who was named Brother of the Month! Reindell consistently leads by example, staying after programming to help staff clean up and showing his peers exactly what it means to be an IYT Brother.
Academic Achievement: Lance Martinez (Western High School)

A massive shout-out to Brother Lance from Western High School, who maintained Straight A’s throughout the entire fall semester! His dedication to academic excellence is truly inspiring.
